Here at Anna Balkan, we love celebrating the members of our close community. Here’s our first Client Spotlight of 2017! Meet Shannon, a super stylish client who’s been shopping at Anna Balkan for many years. Shannon lives in Historic Norcross with her husband Chad and two adorable dogs. She came in for an interview and photoshoot with Hannah, and her story is quite a special one.
Shannon moved around a lot when she was younger, spending the most time in Memphis, TN and eventually moving to Historic Norcross. Shannon’s mom passed away when she was five years old so she grew up with her brother and father, a furniture designer. Growing up, she spent much of her time in furniture showrooms and her father’s warehouse; “I loved playing with the fabric samples, and I feel like that’s really when my love of color and style started to develop,” Shannon says with a smile. Her father began buying her jewelry around the age of eight, solidifying her love of colorful jewelry.
Shannon describes her style as classic, feminine, and always accessorized! She definitely tends to gravitate towards statement pieces, and her wardrobe consists of a variety of clothes ranging from lots of colors to simple black pieces. “I work in a corporate environment,” she says, “so I wear a lot of suits and classy clothes. I love dressing my work outfits up with fun jewelry – it’s my way of making a unique fashion statement without going over the top.” She always has jewelry on, even if it’s just a simple necklace or earrings at the gym or while hiking. Shannon loves Anna Balkan Jewelry, stating that her favorite thing about us is that she learned to layer here; it opened a whole new world of styling options for her. She also loves that her husband Chad, a notorious last-minute shopper for special occasions, has made Anna Balkan his go-to place to buy her gifts!
