Gem of the Month: Pearl

Hi all you #BeautifulAndCapable! Today is all about precious Pearl, so my June babies this one is for you! Now ladies, get ready to dive into the deep alluring waters that is the Pearl.

June is a very interesting month due to the fact that it actually has three deemed birthstones! Why is this you might ask? This is because some ancient gemstones are becoming so rare that it is less likely for them to be on the consumer market. June stands out as the month known as “sweet simplicity”, which could not better describe a Pearl. They are known for the soft demeanor, and timeless look.

No one can say who necessarily discovered pearls, but most likely they were found by ancient peoples searching the shores for food with them being found in marine oysters and freshwater mussels. The Romans and Egyptians prized pearls so much that they used them as decorative items as far back as the 5th Century BC, where Chinese records mention them earlier still. Pearls have a place in Hindu, Islamic and Christian traditions, which often symbolize purity and perfection. Pearls also made a big splash in the Roaring 20’s when the long strands became a staple look for woman.

Pearls are the ultimate and greatest symbol for wisdom. They are valued for their calming effects and represent serenity, while being able to strengthen valuable relationships and convey a sense of safety. Pearls also symbolize purity, as well as integrity and loyalty. Pearl symbolizes wisdom gained through experience. It will help you learn the lessons from every life experience, and it will make you wiser and stronger for it.It’s also a stone that will offer protection and security. You can go about doing your everyday tasks knowing that protective energies surround you.Whether worn or held or just placed around the home, Pearls gives you a sense of inner confidence and serenity that allows you to tackle any of life’s unexpected challenges.Pearl is also known for its powerful calming effects and its ability to balance your aura. This stone will enlighten your mind and help you determine right from wrong. It will make you realize that not everything is black or white, and not everything is set in stone.

Pearls are connected to lower chakras and wearing this stone will help you balance them. Unbalanced lower chakras are recognized by sudden anger bursts, blaming others for your problems, and jealousy. This is often connected with the need for constant confirmation of self-worth, lack of compassion for other people and feeling that no one loves you. You can utilize the energy of Pearls to bring your Hearth chakra (4th) in balance. Pearls are also great for balancing your Third Eye chakra (6th). This will help you feel much better, acknowledge your success in business and personal life.

By wearing pearl jewelry you will boost your intuition, creativity, and visualization. Bringing the Crown chakra (7th) into balance wearing Pearls is important for people that feel that they need constant sympathy of coworkers. By bringing your Crown chakra into balance you will feel connected with the universe, be less nervous, have better relations with coworkers, friends, and family.
